Produced a video to compliment a major motion picture (in development) about famous activist / author Julia Butterfly Hill. The “What’s Your Tree?“ series was created to help audiences discover what they can do to turn inspiration into sustained action.


Invisible Threads” (Working Title)          Writer / Story Development

ARTICA FILM, LTD, L.A., LONDON

Wrote a story treatment and documentary proposal for Sir Richard Branson on the effects of global warming on the Maasai tribes of Kenya. These iconic Africans struggle to avoid cultural extinction and survive the severe droughts caused by environmental abuses on the other side of the planet.


“Best Places to Find Cash and Treasures” TV Series  Writer / Producer

TRAVEL CHANNEL / INDIGO FILMS, SAN FRANCISCO

Produced and wrote a weekly, hour-long adventure series about the best places to uncover real treasures across the U.S. Procured 16 locations, open to the public, where different valuables would be found while shooting. Discoveries included diamonds, opals, meteors, buried civil war artifacts, phosphorescent minerals, sunken treasure and fossilized shark teeth.

Winner of 2006 Emmy Award for “Best Educational Program.” Produced, wrote, and hosted broadcast special on teens and sexually transmitted diseases. Features interviews with youth who had STDs and the journey of two college students getting tested for the first time.


Life Lessons: Another Community at Risk”             Writer / Producer

Winner of two 2006 Emmy Awards. Produced and wrote a documentary on the quiet spread of HIV/AIDS among the heterosexual, African-American community. Program highlights include interviews with cast members from the hit show, “Eve” (UPN), and an HIV-positive man who continues to have unprotected sex with unsuspecting women he meets online.

Winner of 2005 Emmy Award and 2005 Golden Mike Award for “Best Documentary”. Wrote and produced an hour-long broadcast documentary on the topic of teens’ abuse of over-the-counter and prescription drugs, featuring two young users on their long, hard quest for sobriety.

Co-produced video for the 2003 - 2006 Earthdance Global Festival for Peace, occurring simultaneously in 150 cities around the world. Conducted interviews with high-profile musicians and visionaries.“Reggae on the River Festival” & “Health & Harmony Festival” Field Producer / Interviewer.

Winner of the 2005 Golden Mike Award for “Best Documentary” (Large Market). Wrote, produced, and hosted broadcast special about teen alcohol abuse. Nominated for 2005 Emmy.

Produced, directed, and wrote videos for the 2003 and 2004 We The Planet zero-waste festivals, hosted by activist/author Julia Butterfly Hill. Interviewed high-profile artists including Bonnie Raitt, Joan Baez, Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), De La Soul, The Roots, actor/activist Woody Harrelson, and comedian Andy Dick. Videos used for an “Event Greening Guide” DVD. Also produced PSA spots about community activism and patriotism.

Produced and wrote a video and PSA to engage college students in clean and fair elections, which included interviews with NBA player, and Democracy Matters’ founder, Adonal Foyle.

Created and managed the convergence of company's online material about healthy living with television content. Winner of 2000 Webby Award for “Best Health Site” and 2001 Webby Award, People’s Choice. Responsible for the “voice” and look of the site, as well as creative partnerships and interactive, marketing campaigns aimed to reach the largest audience. Assisted Oprah.com with techniques for boosting their numbers. Company owned by media giants Oprah, Geraldine Laybourne (Nickelodeon), Carsey-Warner-Mandebach, and Paul Allen (Microsoft).
